The Captain

     Capt. J. H. Cortinas has over 23 years of experience fishing along the Galveston Bay Complex as well as East Matagorda Bay and carries a captain's license approved by the U.S. Coast Guard.  In the 1999 C.C.A. Guides Cup, Capt. Cortinas placed third in the Individual trout division.

     The vessel, “Reel Magic”, is a 2001 22’ Boston Whaler powered by a 200hp Yamaha with new updated Garmin electronics, VHF radio and an AM/FM stereo with CD player. The center console is very roomy, equipped with a port-a-potty and is perfectly suited for fishing along the Galveston Bay complex and the flats in East Matagorda Bay.  Reel Magic Guide Service caters to experienced and non-experienced anglers, and families are always welcome.

Bay Fishing:

 

Fish along the Galveston Bay complex or along East Matagorda Bay.  Fish for trout, redfish, or flounder. Whether wade fishing, drift fishing, or working birds, your trip will surely be an adventure.

Prices (3 anglers max):

Half day -

up to 2 anglers - $300

3 anglers - $350

Full day -

up to 2 anglers - $400

3 anglers - $450

Custom trips available with food and beverages for additional fee.

Prices include:

Fish cleaned and packaged All rods, reels, tackle and artificial lures, drinks, ice chests with ice on board for beverages and fish.

What is not included:

Fishing License, Food and Live Bait
